JOY. With His Joy in us, our Joy is complete! Thankful on a snowy cloudy day that we can still find joy in the gifts He has blessed us with – a hug from a child, a prayer from a loved one, a smile from a stranger at the gas station. His Joy is in the world around us – how will you notice and give thanks for His Joy today? #joyjoyjoy #joyjoyjoyjoydowninmyheart #faithoverfear #love #Heknowsmyname #Heislove #endingyouthhomelessness

Scale the wall
Do you ever feel that you pray and pray and pray for God to move mountains, but they still remain strong and unmoved? Have you ever prayed for Him to be with you in those moments and simply help you “scale the wall?” Sometimes, He doesn’t move our mountains. It isn’t because he is unable to do so – He can do all things. Sometimes, He teaches us how to conquer them in His strength, and allows us to learn from the walls and mountains in our path. #psalm1829 #movemoutains #scalewalls #faithoverfear #conquerors #endinghomelessness
God is in her
Fall is here! đ Elevate is excited to be able to house THREE moms and their kiddos as the air becomes crisp, and the nights colder. Life continues to present challenges when called to serve, but if we continually remember that HE is in us, we can internalize that we WILL NOT FAIL. #daughterofthekingđ #faithoverfear #heismystrength #endingyouthhomelessness
Weakness is a gift
Did you know your weakness is a gift? Or rather, are you prepared to accept that statement? Most of us forget this detail, or have a tough time not relying on our own strength to create solutions or solve life’s everyday problems. Yet, as believers we are reminded that in our weakness, His power is made perfect – it is a gift to be “weak” so that we rely on His strength, rather than our own. “The magic happens” when we let him lead us, and surrender full control of our circumstances. #2corinthians129 #grace #hisstrengthnotmine #jesustakethewheel #amen #endingyouthhomelessness
Ephesians 3:16
It’s the weekend! So many of us are enduring so many things at a mile a minute each day it is difficult to know how to balance all the change and responsibilities of life. If you are a parent, you might be navigating a whole new environment for your kiddo’s learning right about now. Or maybe you are heading back to work after working remote since March. Or maybe you are going to continue to work from home while parenting your littles, or working from home and trying to take care of a loved one that needs assistance. Or maybe you are out of work, and trying to pray through trusting in His provision. Whatever your story, whatever struggle you are experiencing, Ephesians reminds us that “He’s got this.” He will strengthen all of us when we put our trust in Him. Elevate is in it’s first year of true operation, and every day seems to present a new challenge we weren’t expecting – we could give up, we could give in to difficulty and hardship, but instead our team continues to pray through it… continues to TRUST in Him – to trust in His plan, that He will provide, and we work hard to follow His path through all its twists and turns. #hesgotthis #ephesians316 #trust #faithoverfear #endinghomelessness
Failure won’t define me…
Give up control
If youâre worried about today, donât try to fix the outcome or control the situation. Trust God to move. Not easy, but necessary. When anxiety rises up, stop. Breathe. Pray. Ask for help in trusting in His plan. “…tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” (Matthew 6:34)

opportunity v. inconvenience
“Help me to embrace what comes my way as an opportunity . . . rather than a personal inconvenience.” (Lysa Terkeurst) So many times we face uncertainty and times of fear for what they are in the moment – an inconvenience, a tragedy, a hardship, a time of sorrow, [fill in the blank]… What if we looked at these moments as opportunity instead? Opportunity to be an example? Opportunity to see God working when others might not? Opportunity to help? Opportunity to take pause and self-care when we might need it most? #lysaterkeurst #opportunity #uncertainty #embraceopportunity #covidcantstopgood #endinghomelessness
