Orientation Period – 3 Weeks

When a young mom moves into Elevate, she begins a 3-week orientation period where she develops her individual goal plan with her family advocate that outlines goals and the steps needed to reach them.

Learning Period – 4 Weeks

Residents work on stabilization tasks which include learning to manage a schedule, attending classes on health, parenting, budgeting, and building healthy relationships. At the end of the learning period, a decision is made to determine what track the moms will continue as residents.

Track 1 – 30 Weeks Max

Focuses on stabilization which includes budget management, mental and spiritual health, completing a GED, career counseling, and developing positive and healthy characteristics.

Track 2

Young moms who already have some of the stabilization measures complete can complete the following 4 phases:

Phase 1: Stabilization (12-20 weeks)

A condensed version of Track 1 

Phase 2: Initiative (12-23 weeks) 

Residents focus on career or education goals, in addition to working with their Family Advocates on learning and self-improvement goals

Phase 3: Transition (4-24 weeks)

Residents focus on self sufficiency through minimal oversight and taking personal responsibility 

Phase 4: Application (4-24 weeks) 

Residents apply what they have learned during their time at Elevate and taking final steps to secure housing, and demonstrate a work, school and family balance
