A Weekend to Remember at the 2026 Called Women’s Conference
March 9th, 2026
This past weekend, we had the incredible honor to share our story with over 700 women at the Called Women’s Conference—and we’re still carrying the impact of it with us.
We were able to share this special video highlighting Carol’s Place, a project that represents so much more than a building. It’s a promise. A future. A place where six families will find safety, stability, and a fresh start when doors open in Fall 2026.
One of the most meaningful moments was hearing our Founder reflect on the past 10 years—what began as a dream has become a living, breathing mission. Through every step, every challenge, and every open door, Elevate Hope House has stayed rooted in one purpose: creating spaces where hope can grow and lives can be transformed.
The video also captured the heart of our team and the incredible students who are helping build Carol’s Place. Their perspective is powerful—this isn’t just construction, it’s compassion in action. It’s young people learning that they have the ability to make a real difference in someone else’s life.
We left the weekend feeling grateful, encouraged, and even more expectant for what’s ahead. There is something so special about sharing this journey with a community that believes in the mission as deeply as we do.
This is only the beginning—and we can’t wait to welcome families home.
GRATEFUL FOR PARTNERSHIPS: Carol’s Place Continues to Rise
February 12th, 2026
There are days in this work that feel like steady progress—and then there are days that remind us we are surrounded by a community that is actively carrying this vision forward with us.
We were so grateful to welcome Jill Discher out to visit Carol’s Place and see the progress firsthand. These site visits matter more than words can easily capture. They allow the story of this home to be seen not just as a construction project, but as a growing place of refuge, restoration, and new beginnings for young moms and their children.
We are also incredibly thankful for the generous support from Constance Church and Bridgelink Church. Your partnership and financial investment in this next phase of the build is making a tangible difference. Every gift moves walls closer to completion, brings rooms into form, and helps ensure that when Carol’s Place opens, it will be ready to welcome families with safety, dignity, and care.
This is not work we could do alone. It takes churches, leaders, advocates, and neighbors choosing to stand in the gap together. Your generosity is not just helping us build a structure—it’s helping build a future for families who need a place to begin again.
To Jill, Constance Church, and Bridgelink Church—thank you for seeing the vision, believing in the mission, and investing in what is still becoming. We are deeply grateful for your partnership as Carol’s Place continues to take shape.
DRYWALL & OUR FAVORITE COUNTY COMMISSIONER VISITED!
January 15th, 2026
At Carol’s Place, there’s something powerful about watching a structure begin to feel like a home.
This week, we’re excited to share that the drywall is going up—one of those milestone moments where the vision starts to feel tangible. What was once framed walls and open space is now becoming defined rooms where future families will rest, heal, and rebuild. Every sheet of drywall carries the weight of prayer, planning, and years of faithful work to create a place of stability for young moms and their children.
We were also deeply honored to welcome County Commissioner Julie Braastad out to see our newest home in person. Your support over the years has been remarkable, and we do not take it for granted. From early conversations to continued encouragement and advocacy, you have played a meaningful role in helping this vision move forward.
There are moments in this work when words feel too small for what we’re trying to express, and this is one of them. We are profoundly grateful—not just for the visit, but for the consistent belief in what Carol’s Place represents for our community. Thank you for standing with us as this home continues to take shape, one wall at a time.
WALLS ARE INSULATED: Warmth Takes Shape at Carol’s Place
January 9th, 2026
The snow is here—and so is something just as powerful: insulation. Carol’s Place is now officially insulated, marking a huge step forward in creating a space that will truly feel like home.
In the middle of a Minnesota winter, warmth isn’t just a comfort—it’s security. It’s a mom being able to tuck her kids into bed without worrying about the cold creeping in. It’s restful sleep, peaceful mornings, and the simple dignity of a safe, steady environment.
As we stand in these newly insulated rooms, it’s hard not to pause and reflect: what does living in a warm home mean to you?
For the families who will one day live here, it means everything. And thanks to the hands that built it and the hearts that gave, that warmth is becoming a reality.
SAY “HI!”: The Windows are IN!
December 5th, 2025
Before the snow flies, we have to give a huge “hi” to Scott—the absolute best Construction Trades teacher, ever! Truly, we just love him and his students. The care, pride, and craftsmanship they bring to every step of this project is something special to witness, and Carol’s Place is better because of them.
We’re also celebrating a big milestone—the windows are officially in! That means real progress you can see and feel: added safety, warmth, and a growing sense of home for the future families who will live here. None of this would be possible without the generosity of our incredible donors, who are helping turn walls and windows into a place of hope, stability, and new beginnings.
INTERIOR WALLS HAVE BEGUN: We are so thankful.
November 7th, 2025
The walls are officially going up at Carol’s Place, and it’s such an exciting milestone to witness! We are incredibly grateful for the students of Spring Lake Park High School who have rolled up their sleeves to help bring this vision to life. Their hard work, energy, and heart for serving others are making a lasting impact, and we couldn’t be more thankful to have them be part of this journey.
BIG MILESTONE: First Wall Goes Up at Carol’s Place!
October 12th, 2025
Spring Lake Park High School students have officially put up the first wall at Carol’s Place! This hands-on experience is more than a construction project—it’s an opportunity for students to learn, grow, and see the tangible impact of their efforts.
Every board raised brings us closer to welcoming 6 young families into safe, stable homes this fall. These students are not just learning skills; they’re helping build futures—for themselves and for families in our community.
The energy and excitement on site are contagious, and this is just the start. With each wall, each nail, and each step forward, Carol’s Place moves closer to becoming a home filled with hope, opportunity, and love.
Stay tuned as our student builders continue to make a real difference, one wall at a time!
EXCITING UPDATE: Carol’s Place Construction is Ahead of Schedule!
September 10th, 2025
We’re thrilled to share some incredible news about Carol’s Place!
We’re ahead of schedule! The lumber has been delivered to Spring Lake Park High School, and our Partnership Agreement has been officially signed once again. This milestone marks the beginning of something truly special.
What makes this project extraordinary:
For Students: High school students will gain hands-on experience in the construction trades as part of their education, learning valuable skills that could shape their future careers.
For Our Community: This isn’t just about building a house – it’s about building hope. Every nail hammered by these students will directly impact the lives of 6 young mothers and their children who will call Carol’s Place home by next fall.
For Gen Z: This project demonstrates how their work creates real, lasting change in their community. These students are building more than walls – they’re building futures for families not much different in age from themselves.
Looking Ahead
This is just the beginning! Carol’s Place will continue to serve families for years to come, providing safe, stable housing and support when it’s needed most.
Stay tuned for more updates as we document this incredible journey of students, families, and community coming together to make a difference.
